Music lessons from home

During the lockdowns of 2020 we were all forced to go online if we wanted to teach. I loved it! It allowed me to teach students in parts of the world that I never would have met otherwise, and to be creative and use technology and video in a way I hadn't before.

I teach on zoom and have a library of videos which are made available to students, to supplement each technique and learning stage. 

Imagine the scenario... in your first lesson you are learning how to hold the bow and you've written notes but they don't quite make sense when you get home and you have questions... instead of waiting until the next lesson you can watch the video I've made on how to hold the bow so that you don't have to waste time or search YouTube!

In some instances and depending on how each person learns best, I provide the videos for students before doing it in the lesson so you can come prepared.

I teach students of all ages but I think independent learners such as teenagers and adults are best for this type of lesson. 11+ is ideal.

​

I teach any level and currently have students from beginner to grade 8. I often get asked if someone is too old to start... I don't know how old you are but the answer is no! I take beginners of any age! You'll be able to get a lot of satisfaction and have fun whatever your age or stage.

I also love to help people returning to the instrument after a long break. I can help you work on technique and become even better than you were before.
